Gregory M. Brunin, M.D.

Dr. Brunin is a board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in cornea and refractive surgery. Dr. Brunin provides comprehensive ophthalmology services including cutting-edge cataract surgery, refractive surgery, and corneal transplantation. During fellowship, he had the opportunity to perform many refractive surgeries including LASIK at the Evans Army Community Hospital at Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Dr. Brunin specializes in cataract surgery, premium intraocular lenses (IOLs), refractive surgery, corneal transplantation, and ocular surface disease. He is certified to implant phakic IOLs and to perform LASIK and PRK. Dr. Brunin has extensive training and experience in astigmatism correction, multifocal IOLs, and the Light Adjustable Lens to provide state of the art refractive cataract surgery.

Background & Achievements

Dr. Brunin grew up in a small town in Kansas. After graduating from the University of Kansas, Dr. Brunin completed his medical degree and ophthalmology residency at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. In his final year of residency, he was elected by the ophthalmology department to serve as Chief Resident. He published multiple research articles and book chapters while in residency, earning a research award in his final year. Dr. Brunin was awarded with the Stephen N. Schindler Award, recognizing the resident who most embodies high ethical and humane standards.
