Background & Achievements

Dr. Chui received her Bachelor of Science degree from Washburn University at Topeka, KS. Inspired by her own optometrist of many years, Dr. Chui completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from University of Houston College of Optometry. While in school, she completed her externship rotations at the Cherokee Indian Health Service in Tahlequah, OK and Coastal Valley Bend Veterans Affair in McAllen and Harlingen, TX. Both rotations provided her with valuable experience in management and treatment of diseases and pre- and post-op care.

After graduation, Dr. Chui completed a post-doctoral fellowship at University of Houston College of Optometry in Clinical Teaching at a Community Clinic. During her fellowship, she taught and trained optometry students, worked with retina, glaucoma, and contact lens specialists, and was part of the See to Succeed program, a Houston Health Department program providing vision care for school age children.

Along with her practice at Eye Associates, Dr. Chui also practice at the Rosenberg School of Optometry and provide clinical training for optometry students. Dr. Chui is passionate about educating her patients and having a good doctor-patient relationship. In her free time, Dr. Chui enjoys spending time with her dogs, trying different restaurants with her husband, and being a Success Coach, aiding optometry students with passing national board exams.
